What is it that motivates me to do my work, run my business and serve Jesus online, while having to look after my wife and three kids?
✝️ “Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31 ✝️
I work and run a business to earn a living, so I can support my family, but more importantly, I also want to glorify God in those aspects of my life. Likewise, I don't serve the LORD to earn my salvation or to get rewarded by God, I do so because it's how I show Jesus that I love Him! 🙌
I was once a sinner (Romans 3:23) the Holy Spirit opened my eyes and enabled me to believe in and receive Jesus (Romans 6:23, Romans 10:9)! No one can earn their salvation by doing good works, rather, we do the good works BECAUSE we are saved (Ephesians 2:8-10). 🙏
Whether you're a stay at home parent, or you work in an office, or you are studying at a university, why you do what you do? Are you directed by the status quo? Are you forced by your life situation? Are you driven by worldly success which leads to validation from others?
Why do you do what you do? What is your purpose in life? 🤔
