Thanks to Basel III, as of July 1st, 2025, gold is now a Tier 1 asset, meaning banks can use it as part of their reserves. Essentially, they are now admitting that gold is money. How will that affect things? We talk about the historical perspective as well as the predictions for the future. We talk about the headwinds for paper assets and the tailwinds for hard assets.
