Paddy McPoland joins John Kennedy

The Tech Check, Paddy Mc Poland joins John Kennedy to chat about mental

health on and off the road.:

Paddy is a Native of Belfast, Ireland but moved south with his family in his early years to Naas, Co

Kildare.

Studying in Carlow RTC, he became Ents Officer and then President of the Students Union,

becoming USI National Exec Officer in 1985.

From here he went full time into the music business.

Firstly as Promoter rep then as Tour Manager, paddies client list includes - Clannad, Imelda May,

Sinead O'Connor, The Stunning, Paul Brady, James Vincent McMorrow...there's tons of other bands

that nobodys heard of too!!

At the moment Paddy is on lockdown and busy rescheduling the Clannad Farewell World Tour for

2021…Well be talking about mental health and the stresses of tour life also how to cope with the

now and what the future may or may not hold for us…
