I've spent more than 30 years in the building industry, most of it running the business side of our custom home building company alongside my husband, Ross.

These days I'm a licensed builder, a multi-award-winning business owner, an author of Better Clients, Better Profits, Better Life, and I sit on the board of Master Builders Queensland.
But the thing I'm proudest of? Helping the women who hold businesses behind the building industry together, the ones running everything from the office, not the site.
That's why I started Women Behind the Build. Every week I sit down with women in construction to talk honestly about the parts no one warns you about and how to build a business that finally works as hard as you do.
