Reorienting Ourselves Towards Play, with Jeff Harry

This week‘s episode should be required listening for every adult over the age of 30. I know it’s just my opinion, but most of us seem to lose our capacity to play the older we get.

My guest, Jeff Harry is here to revolutionize that and explain how the research shows that play is in fact, NOT a just novel idea, not mere silliness; rather it’s in fact, seriously important that we reclaim play in our lives.

We dig deep about why we stop playing and how we can navigate the inner critics that come out when we want to play or even when we don’t wanna play and instead are doing the taxes or looking in the mirror.

Learn how to name your inner critics, acknowledge and make peace with them.

We talk about why asking “What do you want?” is both the simplest and hardest question to answer and how consumerism really drives our American ethos of ‘not enoughness’.

This one is so much fun! Jeff is inspiring, uplifting, super funny and really knows the science that supports it all.

It’s time to re-orient ourselves as the playful creative beings we are.

What we further explore in this conversation

  • - What is the value that play can have on our lives as adults
  • - How to reintroduce play into its rightful place in our families, schools, hearts and workplaces.
  • - How to let go in order to reinvent ourselves.
  • - And more

Enjoy this episode. I hope it makes you go out and play!
