Today we celebrate our 50th episode. Woot woot!! To those of you who have been here all along, and to those of you just tuning in thank you! This podcast is for you and I so appreciate you being here.
Next week I’ve got another guest interview for you to enjoy but today I wanted to explore mindfulness with you from another, less obvious perspective.
Even on the best of days, living mindfully can feel challenging. Being in the moment requires our focused attention and a fair amount of energy. So what about when the seas get rough? How can we stay present during life’s more difficult moments, days or chapters?
The past month has been a real doozy for folks. 6 planets have been in retrograde and whether that’s as impactful as the astrologists say or not; for many it has felt like all hell has broken loose. I know this because it’s what my clients, colleagues and friends are sharing with me.
Whether your rough patch is a minor inconvenience or a lifelong obstacle, this episode is here to keep you company, normalize the disruption and offer you some ways to be present for it all.
Here are some things you’ll discover in this episode:
- The humanity of hard times.
- How to be present to yourself and to your life in the midst of real challenges.
- You are not alone.
- Ways to care for yourself, find refuge, and create some ease, relief and sanity.
- and so more…
Enjoy!
